When designing this program I wanted to touch on all the topics that are unique to being a mom and losing weight. We’re busy. We’re sleep deprived. We’re sometimes overwhelmed. Who the heck has time to count how many calories we’re eating every day and take care of our own needs?
Even if you live across the country, you can do this program with us because everything is either done via tele-class, delivered through webinar videos, online yoga videos or in the online forum.
Each week we’ll come together for a live tele-class. We’ll focus on a different topic each week & I’ll give you specific tools. I’m going to systematically walk you step by step through this process. Don’t worry if you can’t attend the live call, because I’ll record them each week & email you a copy so you can download it and listen to it on your computer or as an mp3.
You might be wondering why I chose to combine weight loss coaching, yoga & motherhood? Well, here’s why. I’m pulling from my own first-hand experiences with all three components. My daughter had 5 ear infections before the age of one and I remember how tired and emotionally drained I felt. I also remember wanting to keep my house clean, keep the laundry beast under control and prepare healthy nutritious meals for my family. Well, it wasn’t exactly my reality.
The yoga component fits into this program so perfectly. More than just stretching, well focus on whole-body strength and learning how to inhabit the body by being present and breathing fully. Yoga means something different to everyone, but to me yoga embodies qualities like patience, awareness, strength, stillness of mind and body, empowerment and balance – all of which extend beyond your yoga mat and can help you live a fuller, more abundant life in all areas.
